Careers: Junior Mechatronica Engineer
Because of the increasing amount of assignments, we would like to expand our team with a mechatronics engineer. In this function, you are responsible for the development, production and installation of measurement and control systems for (mainly) the flat-sheet industry. This industry contains i.a. the production of paper, cardboard, foils, films, and non-wovens. The systems are developed in collaboration with the customer to achieve appropriate solutions. Mechanical, electro technical and software techniques are combined in these. After developing a solution, you are also involved in the production, installation and aftercare and service of the systems. This can be both in the Netherlands and abroad, since MCS Engineering has customers worldwide.
About you
- You have completed an MTS/HTS study in Mechatronics, operational technology or process technology
- Electrical Engineering and mechanical engineering
- Industrial automation (PLC, SCADA)
- You are familiar with automatic control engineering/process control
- You are familiar with technical drawing (CAD)
- You are familiar with machining techniques
- You have experience with (graphical) programming or you are willing to learn. Experience with LabView is an advantage
- You are willing to travel
- You are pro-active, creative, persistent, have strong organizational and communicative skills, and have the ability to turn wishes of clients into realistic solutions
- Required languages: English (writing and speaking); Dutch and German are advantages
