Sheet roller guides:
Only a stable process can be measured accurately, so MCS offers a range of roller sheet guides and attachment hardware. These rollers will create a stable platform for the measuring sensor, even at speeds of 2000 m/min. Available in 40mm & 50mm, standard or Teflon loaded for sticky processes.

XYZ scanning platform alignment tester:
A method of certifying your frame is properly aligned in all three measurement axes. A measurement is only as good as the frame of reference.

Non-contacting caliper:
A "simple" triangulation laser caliper system for the board industry. This sensor can be used as a standalone system or integrated into an existing qcs system.

Classic Quality Control System Overlay:
A standalone PC based system overlay allowing upgrade of an existing measurement system and integration into a higher level DCS. PC_Control with an OPC link to a PLC for stable low level control.

Quality Control System:
We offer a standalone PC based system, including the scanner of your choice. We can provide standard O scanners or custom designed C scanners, single point measurement etc. The MCS_QMS system has proven itself to be highly reliable and a very cost effective solution. We offer multi constituents information using reflection infrared technology. Our sensor can be equipped with a fiberglass probe for extreme environmental conditions.


Microwave moisture measurement:
Transmission moisture measurement for paper and board.
Our microwave sensor measures from 0 to 150 gsm water. Has a small footprint and a measurement gap of up to 30 mm.

Porosity measurement:
Sheet porosity is one of the most important parameters for a quality product. We offer the best high speed online measurement available.
Our sensor is based on continues flow measurement and has a special coated low friction contact plate.

Classic Systems Interfaces:
Higher Level Communication Interfaces. A dedicated S/W data interface from classic RS232 to new TCP based systems. Linking a Local System (like ABB Master) to a higher level DCS System (like Siemens).

CD control, even for VAT machines, we will help to improve your product profile. We have many years experience in setup and tuning of CD control. We assist in solving the "impossible".

Historical data display system:
MCS engineering has developed a system to store and retrieve historical process data like profiles and process information. We can store and display nearly unlimited data while keeping the original resolution.

Email process parameter readout:
MCS engineering has developed a secure system to read your process parameters via a dedicated mail server. Use this to read your specific set of process parameters from anywhere around the globe.
